Good news, bad news, good news

1 week closer to semi retirement. It was a pretty good week, not much more to say.

Well actually there is! Deb's MRI yesterday showed the tumours are the same size as when she finished treatment a few weeks ago (good). It also showed a tumour on her brain sac (bad). It's small 2 mm by 3.5 mm and is the same type as her other tumours so is expected to respond well to treatment (good). They are going to do 10 instead of the standard 15 treatments since the previous round was so hard on Deb (good).

Please keep praying for Deb and Bill.

Father, please care for Deb and Bill. Meet their needs and be revealed to them and others. May Your love and mercy bring You glory. None of us pretend to know what You have in store for any of us. For Deb we ask for healing according to Your will. For Bill, we ask for strength and peace. Help them as they journey the path they're on. Remove obstacles and distractions from them. Don't allow anything or anyone to block the view of You. In the name of Jesus, we ask that You care for them both. Sustain those friends and family that lift them up in prayer. Please remind us to be faithful in our prayers. May we all rejoice together in Your goodness. Right now, Lord reveal Yourself. Remind us of Your sovereign power. You tell us that this power that raised Jesus from the dead is alive today. I ask that that very power be generously poured over Deb and Bill. Much like the oil anointing Jesus, from their heads to toe may they both feel Your sweet presence. Thank You Father for hearing us; for caring for us; loving us; and responding to our cries. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray; Amen. Steven
